About NCE: Meet the force behind Nancy Cotto Events – I’m Nancy, residing in the captivating St. Pete with my husband and our aussome pup, Tiki. With 25 years immersed in the wedding realm, I’ve transitioned from Catering Director to Venue Manager and, post-2020, embraced my true calling as a girl-boss planner. My essence is a blend of fun and friendliness, fueled by an unmatched passion for weddings. Honest, down-to-earth, and creatively driven, I’ve orchestrated over 2000 weddings, perfecting the craft with an organized, get-it-done attitude. Nancy was planning our April 2022 wedding (100+ domestic and international guests) at The Museum of Fine Arts, and what a wedding it was! Nancy is professional, very knowledgeable, efficient, patient and fun. She knows everyone that is worth knowing in the business. The importance of that is enormous in a time where everyone is looking for the best caterer, the best florist, the best DJ or band, etc. She will save you time, money and last but not least: headaches. It’s also a good feeling when you as a bride call up a vendor and they ask you who your wedding planner is and they ALL (without exception) tell you with excitement in their voices NANCY COTTO is “the best wedding planner out there!”, “I love to work with her”, etc. The best thing about this is that she proved that they were right! I cannot say enough about how amazing Nancy is. We hired Nancy after our first wedding planner failed to follow through on major commitments to us. Before we even contracted with Nancy, she was willing to hop on a phone call with me to answer all of my questions and concerns, and alleviate the anxieties I had over our first wedding planner leading us astray. Throughout the planning process, Nancy was available to us when we needed her and happy to promptly answer any questions I had. On the day of our wedding, we had an abnormal amount of things go wrong with other vendors as well as rain on our wedding day, forcing us into a backup plan. Nancy advocated for us to have an alternate outdoor location under a tent at our venue instead of our indoor backup, and this made such a huge difference in our night. She also was there to address all of the other little hiccups that came up and made the night so much easier, despite the disappointments that were out of our/her control. In addition to being the best planner you will ever find, Nancy is honestly just an incredibly good human and it shows in her compassion for people and the work she does. We were so lucky to have found her and had her be a part of our special day.
